Areas of Interest
From a professional standpoint, my interests include deep tissue, therapeutic massage for injury recovery, sports massage, Swedish and pregnancy massage, and Chinese cupping. Be it soothing relaxation or focused, deep work, I have a variety of techniques I use to meet my patients’ needs. I enjoy problem-solving ways to address sudden, acute injuries or more chronic conditions. In 2008, I spent an unbelievable week massaging Olympic hopefuls at the U.S. Track & Field Olympic Trials in Eugene.
My private life is spent doting on my two children, our dog, and my husband; probably in that order. I swam competitively in my youth and took ballet lessons for years as a child. At some point, ballet no longer held me in its sway, and I discovered the amazing world of modern dance. So much so, my husband and I named our 2nd child after a famous choreographer.
