I have had the pleasure of working at the University of Oregon for the past four years in the Nurse Specialty Clinic as a staff nurse, and now as the Lead Nurse.

I enjoy interacting with our diverse student population. I welcome the daily opportunity to help educate our students on making healthy lifestyle choices. I think the thing I love the best is teaching our students to be in tuned to the subtle signs that their bodies are sending them and to not ignore those clues. Patients know their bodies better than we do, so paying close attention to little changes now may help to prevent a major illness down the road.

I enjoy working with college students, my favorite age group.  Traveling is one of my favorite hobbies and I am able to incorporate that into my work in travel medicine.  I am a fellow allergy sufferer and can commiserate with others during spring here in Eugene as well as help treat their allergy symptoms.  Outside of work I enjoy camping, hiking, biking, sailing and scuba diving.
